This is on some new books I got and a map I got.
I went to the library today, cause yesterday I went there to get another book and the librarian wasn’t there cause it was her day off, so I went back today and she was there cause it wasn’t her day off.
She recommended that I read another book by the dude Carroll Quigley. Carroll is a dude even though he has a girls name. The book is called The Anglo-American Establishment.
I thought the book was going to be as big as his other book, but it’s only 354 pages if you count the index. The copyright is 1981.
I also asked her, cause I want to learn words and the world, what she would recommend. She recommended that I get a dictionary and a map.
I went to the bookstore and bought The American Heritage Dictionary, Fourth Edition. I had a gift card for the mall so it was only like $20.
I also picked up a map. It was $7. It’s a paper map of the world and it’s 50 inches by 32 inches.
So I’m going to start learning about words and the world, but not right now.
